Summary

The objective of this workshop is to disseminate best practices related to main materials and tools

used in installation of grid connected photovoltaic systems. With the increasing number of grid

connected PV systems in Brazil raise concerns about quality of installations, which should have a

lifetime expectation of 25 years or more. Quality of installation depends on training of professionals,

quality of materials and tools and its correct use. Training of professionals begins with knowledge

of the specific materials and tools of the photovoltaic area and the risks of inappropriate practices.

The workshop is aimed to electricians, installers, builders, engineers and technicians.
