PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS – TECHNICAL ASPECTS

Summary The objective of this workshop is to present an overview of the technology that
allows generating electricity directly from solar radiation, covering basics of solar
energy, photovoltaic technology and technical aspects of grid connected PV
systems for residential installation.
Aimed at the general public – architects, engineers, builders, technicians,
electricians, students and interested people -, besides technical aspects some
regulatory aspects will be also addressed, such as ANEEL Normative Resolution,
which allows to install grid connected photovoltaic systems in buildings to
generate electricity for own consumption.
